From Saturday, September 20, to January 18, 2026, H’ART Museum is hosting a major exhibition in collaboration with the collections of the Centre Pompidou: Brancusi, The Birth of Modern Sculpture. This groundbreaking exhibition brings an exceptional collection of works by Constantin Brancusi (1876–1957), widely considered the father of modern sculpture, to Amsterdam. The exhibition explores the various facets of his art and presents more than 30 sculptural masterpieces, accompanied by the artist’s original pedestals, as well as his photographs and films.

The ‘Amsterdamse School & Zo’ exhibition is a follow-up to the highly successful Art Nouveau exhibition organized two years ago by the Veenkoloniaal Museum. The format is slightly different. Numerous books have already been published about the Amsterdam School style in Groningen, and we don’t want to repeat ourselves. So, we’re also taking a moment to reflect on the current residents. What’s it like to live in such a gem? Why was this house chosen, and which ornament or detail do people find most appealing?

The exhibition Fashion Army presents over fifty remarkable photographs from a recently declassified US Army archive. While doing online research in 2022, French visual researcher Matthieu Nicol came across this collection with images of people wearing samples and prototypes of military garments, dating from the late 1960s to the early 1990s.

Discover the first major retrospective exhibition of South Korean artist Haegue Yang (1971, Seoul) in the Netherlands. Considered one of the leading artists of her generation, Yang has developed a versatile oeuvre spanning over thirty years. Leap Year will showcase the artist’s wide variety of media, including installation, sculpture, video, text, and audio. Evoking sensorial associations with everyday objects, from aluminium blinds and drying racks to metal bells, her works dissociate well-established dichotomies like abstract versus figurative.
