the Solebay tapestries
The National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam purchased two rare, royally commissioned tapestries designed by Willem van de Velde the Elder (1611-1693) in England. This was the largest purchase in the history of the museum.
This product is made of traditional jacquard woven fabric. Dutch Tapestries ® Woven Art works together with the 5th generation of weavers in Flanders. The purchase of this exclusive product helps to preserve this craft.
The bag is made with two designs; the ships from the tapestries and the waves of the tapestries. The bag with the waves also has two different backsides; cream or dark blue.
