Inspired by the discovery of five Triceratops Horridus in Wyoming, USA, in 2013, this exhibition brings the fascinating world of these prehistoric giants to life.

A unique paleontological find

In 2013, a team of experts from Naturalis found hundreds of fossilized bones and fragments of Triceratops Horridus at a single location in Wyoming. This discovery included five individual triceratops, suggesting that they were part of a herd – a find that is considered unprecedented worldwide. The exhibition ‘The Herd of Triceratops’ offers visitors an unparalleled insight into the life of this iconic dinosaur species.
