Reporting Illegal content

Notice and Take Down Procedure

At Dutch Museum Gift Shop, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to complying with all applicable laws. If you believe that content on our site infringes your intellectual property rights, you can use the form on this page to notify us directly.

Filing a Notice of Infringement

To file a notice, please complete the form on this page with the following information:

  • Your Contact Information: Provide your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the Allegedly Infringing Content: Include details about the content you believe is infringing, such as the specific URL or a screenshot, so that we can locate it quickly.
  • Description of Your Intellectual Property: Describe the work you believe is being infringed upon, including any relevant copyright registration number or trademark details.
  • Statement of Good Faith: Confirm that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content in question is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of Accuracy: Confirm that the information provided in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property right that is allegedly infringed.

After submitting the form, we will review your notice and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content.

Response to Notice

If we take action based on your notice, we will notify the user or content provider and give them an opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If a vendor’s content has been removed or disabled, and they believe this action was mistaken, they can submit a counter-notice.

After submitting their counter-notice, we will review it and may restore the removed content within 10 business days unless the original complainant files a legal action seeking a court order to restrain the vendor from engaging in the infringing activity.
