Chez Matisse
On view at the H’ART Museum in the autumn of 2026: Henri Matisse (1869–1954), one of the great pioneers of modern art. Known for his bold use of color and his iconic paper cutouts, Matisse dedicated his entire life to the search for the perfect balance between simplicity, form, and expression.
Chez Matisse – Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou brings together more than eighty artworks. In addition to an extensive selection of works by Matisse, visitors can also admire artworks by his contemporaries and later artists who were inspired by his legacy, such as Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, and Pablo Picasso.
