Due to the success of the 2023 tear-off calendar, the Netherlands’ most famous film journalist René Mioch and top director Ate de Jong are once again putting together a crushing calendar in 2024. You won’t easily forget the world-famous movie quotes! The quotes are alternated with special stories from René and Ate about films and actors.
At the age of 15, René Mioch first interviewed a celebrity. Later he would be allowed to interview the very biggest movie stars. His program ‘Films & Sterren’ is broadcast in more than 80 countries. He is also a welcome guest in programs such as Op1, Jinek and Shownieuws. In 2013, he won an Emmy Award for The Entertainment Experience, for which he collaborated with Paul Verhoeven. In 2020 he started the successful YouTube channel ‘Binge Talks’.
Ate de Jong is a director, screenwriter and producer. After directing a number of Dutch films, he left for Los Angeles for the major work. There he directed two feature films and an episode of the television series ‘Miami Vice’. He returned in 1993. Since then he has lived in Amsterdam and London. Ate de Jong is known for films and series such as ‘A flight of whimbrel’, ‘Drop Dead Fred’ and ‘The bombardment’.
