Cycladic statues or idols are the oldest marble statues from Greece, dating from the early Bronze Age (3000-2000 B.C). These sculptures are named after the islandgroup they were made on and the Greek word ‘eidolon’: Statue. Even though they are more than 4000 years old, they look surprisingly modern.
