Ammonite Mother of Pearl

14,95

Ammonites are extinct squid. They lived from about 400 to 65 million years ago. They lived in a wounded shell that consisted of several rooms. With their catch arms they caught crabs and shrimps. As a fossil, it is usually not the shell that is found, but its petrified core.
