Jewels! The Glitter of the Russian Court

Russian court culture was an unprecedented phenomenon. One of the Hermitage’s great treasures is its collection of jewelery, often from tsars, tsarina’s and wealthy grand dukes. The precious jewelery portrays fashion from the seventeenth to the early twentieth century, with the names of famous jewelery houses such as Cartier, Boucheron and Fabergé regularly appearing.
