Remembrance

In the Netherlands, there are commemorations of the different groups of war victims throughout the year. During the National Remembrance day on May 4, we commemorate all victims together. A remembrance is organized in almost every municipality.

Celebrate

On May 5 we celebrate the liberation of the Netherlands in 1945 and that we have been living in freedom ever since. That day we also reflect on the value of freedom, democracy and human rights.
