The accompanying catalog of V&A’s enchanting exhibition Tim Walker: Wonderful Things is a journey through the creative mind of one of the world’s most inventive photographers.<\/p>\n

Radical, exciting and original. Tim Walker is one of the world’s foremost photographers. An energetic, imaginative force that evokes other worlds with his images.<\/p>\n

The catalog features more than 100 immersive photos, from ten magical shoots inspired by objects from the V&A’s vast and expansive collection, as well as conversations between set designers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, models and muses – such as Grace Jones, Tilda Swinton and Grayson Perry – who Walker teamed up with to bring his fantasy to life. In addition, previously unpublished behind-the-scenes footage reveals Walker’s creative process. From preliminary sketches, through his detailed research in the labyrinth of storage rooms and galleries in the V&A, to his spectacular final photos.<\/p>\n
