Het meisje met de parel<\/h4>\n

Meisje met de parel is een olieverfschilderij van de Nederlandse schilder Johannes Vermeer uit de Gouden Eeuw, gedateerd ca. 1665. Het heeft door de eeuwen heen verschillende namen gehad en werd tegen het einde van de 20e eeuw bekend onder de huidige titel, naar de oorbel die werd gedragen door het meisje dat daar werd afgebeeld. Het werk bevindt zich sinds 1902 in de collectie van het Mauritshuis in Den Haag en is onderwerp geweest van diverse literaire en filmische behandelingen. ..<\/p>\n
