This original hand carved Sailor print by Studio Tokek is inked by hand and printed on heavy paper (190gr).
The print is made with midnight blue ink. It has two small details in red on the flags on the boats.
Paper size: A3 ( 42 x 29,7 cm). The print comes shipped in a tube.
About Studio Tokek
Studio Tokek was founded by Esther Elzinga, a Dutch illustrator and printmaker. Graduated with a degree in fashion design, her current practice now revolves around making illustrations and prints for a wide host of purposes, including birth announcement cards and children’s books. She also loves to work with fabrics, and has made her own small collection of zipper pouches, bags and cushion covers. Besides printing, carving and sewing she loves reading, spinning, bootcamp, tea, Asia and Asian food, hiking in Austria, plants, cats, riding her bicycle, and her husband and five kids.
Fun fact: the name of her studio means « lizard » in Bahasa Indonesia.
