Cockroaches: booklets to send. Just like in the movie Cockroach.

We made this Cockroach in collaboration with several people movie theaters. With texts about beautiful films such as
Taste of Cherry, Jeanne Dielman, Tokyo Story, Lost in Translation, etc…

Until March 2024 it is only available at De Schuur Haarlem,
Filmhuis Den Haag, Eye Filmmuseum, Lux Nijmegen, Lumière Maastricht, Filmhuis
Bussum, Filmhuis Lumen, Focus Arnhem, Filmhuis Alkmaar, Filmtheater Hilversum
and De Fabriek in Zaandam.

Cockroaches are richly illustrated books to to send, filled with stories, poems, and recipes. Are being made by young talents and established makers. This way the offer remains surprising and surprisingly high quality. Each booklet is sustainably printed in the Netherlands, bound with a notebook stitch, and comes with a matching envelope.

From January 4, it will be exclusively for sale at some film theaters in the Netherlands. A richly illustrated, mailable booklet filled with ‘wise’ lessons from film classics. For example, what can be learned from the playful Amélie, thoughtful Jeanne Dielman or the wandering souls in Lost in Translation? Uitgeverij Loopvis created the booklet with the Dutch film theaters (NFO). A great (letterbox) gift for the film lover!
