« The world of Floris Hovers » shows the colourful, playful and surprising oeuvre of designer and artist Floris Hovers (1976). With his autonomous work such as (spatial) compositions and colorful ‘cities’, miniatures, furniture and lighting, Hovers invites you time and again into his almost perfect simple world, where there is plenty of room for imagination. His designs are a playful way to approach the adult world. Using simple materials, he explores the interplay between form, color and construction. The creative process is just as important to Hovers as the end result. By leaving out a lot, you get to the essence. What remains should be enough to give room to imagination.”
